State of Florida Issues Updates on Increased Mass Migration Monitoring Along the Florida Coastline

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – As of January 26, nearly 10,000 migrants have been interdicted with 5,443 apprehended. A total of 152 migrant vessels have been removed including 47 from the Dry Tortugas and 48 from the Lower Keys. Suspicious packages containing 146 pounds of cocaine, worth an estimated $2.3 million, have also been removed and turned into U.S.  Border Control after washing up on shore in the Florida Keys.
