Governor Ron DeSantis Announces COVID-19 Vaccination Site at Florida Memorial University
Governor DeSantis announced that the Florida Division of Emergency Management has opened a new, permanent COVID-19 vaccine site at Florida Memorial University. The walk-up vaccine site will administer the COVID-19 vaccine to any Florida resident over the age of 18, no appointment needed. The site will administer the 200 doses of the two-dose Moderna vaccine per day beginning today, April 13.

In partnership with local counties, the federal government and pharmacies, there are more than 1,600 vaccine sites operating in Florida. To date, more than 7.2 million Floridians have received a COVID-19 vaccine, including more than 3.9 million seniors. For a list of walk up, state-supported sites, visit FloridaDisaster.org/Vaccine.
While the site at Florida Memorial University will not require appointments, all Floridians can preregister for sites that require appointments at https://myvaccine.fl.gov.
