Miami-Dade County State-Run Community-Based Testing Sites to Reopen on Sunday
Today, the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) announced that the following drive-thru COVID-19 testing sites are reopening on Sunday, May 17:
- Hard Rock Stadium (Miami-Dade County)
- Miami Beach Convention Center (Miami-Dade County)
These two sites were set to be closed until Monday, May 18, due to a low-pressure system impacting the state over the weekend. Weather conditions in Miami-Dade County have improved, allowing staff to be able to safely set up the site today.
The following sites will remain closed until Monday, May 18:
- Brevard Eastern Florida State College – Palm Bay Campus (Brevard County)
- CB Smith Park (Broward County)
- Broward War Memorial (Broward County)
- Mitchell Moore Park (Broward County)
- Urban League (Broward County)
- Amelia Earhart Park (Miami-Dade County)
- Marlins Stadium (Miami-Dade County)
- Holy Family Catholic Church (Miami-Dade County)
- FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches (Palm Beach County)
- South County Civic Center in Delray Beach (Palm Beach County)
- Lakeside Hospital (Palm Beach County)
- Volusia University High School (Volusia County)
