Regional Response Coordinators
The Regional Response Coordination Team members are individuals within the Division who live and work in one of the seven regions of Florida. Regional Coordinators are an integral part of the division. The Regional Response and Preparedness Coordinators are members of the Regional Coordination Team (RCT), which reports under the guidance and direction of the Bureau of Response Chief. Regional EM Coordinators are the first line of support to the community on all emergency management issues, including local plan development, preparedness, training, and exercise information. They interact on a daily basis to ensure coordination between local governments, communities, and the State in all five-mission areas of emergency management.
Their primary function during incidents or events is to provide assistance, guidance, and technical support to County Emergency Management (EM) Officials while ensuring the State Emergency Response Team (SERT) is provided timely notification of operational status, protective measures, anticipated resource requests and unmet needs that an impacted area may have.

The Daily RCT Operations Report gives the SWO, RCT Supervisor, Bureau of Response Chief & individuals subscribed to receive the Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report a snapshot of the daily activities and locations the RC will be participating in that day.
The weekly report provides high-level situational awareness of what activities the RC has participated in during the week to RCT Supervisor and the Bureau Chief of Response. This report details any no-notice incident responses, upcoming activities, and any issues, concerns or questions from local County EM and other regional partners during the week.
