What is DEMES?

DEMES (formerly known as Salesforce) modernizes and digitizes FDEM's forms and processes, enabling us to operate with greater speed, utilize grant funding more efficiently, and deliver an enhanced user-friendly navigation experience for our agencies, partners, and internal staff.

What has changed?

Since 2022, FDEM has been actively transitioning paper-based forms and processes to the new digital functionality within DEMES. Targeted FDEM functions have successfully migrated, with ongoing plans for enhancements each year. Users have reported benefits including faster processing timesreduced workload through pre-populated data fields, improved data accuracy through stronger quality controls, and an enhanced user interface.

Questions regarding the Electric Grid Enhancement and Resiliency Grant should be directed to Berenice Hernandez: Berenice.Hernandez@em.myflorida.com
