Florida Division of Emergency Management Celebrates Budget Signing
Today, following Governor Ron DeSantis signing the state budget, Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Jared Moskowitz issued the following statement:
"In the 2019 budget, the Governor's investment in hurricane response and recovery will not only help the Panhandle rebuild stronger than before, but will ensure our state is prepared for this hurricane season. Since day one of this administration, we have been laser focused on accelerating funding for communities impacted by hurricanes Michael, Irma, Matthew and Hermine. At the Governor's direction, I am continuing to do everything we can at the Division to make sure Florida is prepared for any disaster."
