The Logistics Section consists of -
The Logistics Support Branch: Responsible for property accountability, vehicle fleet and facilities management, facility security and credentialing, in-state Mutual Aid and the Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC), logistics planning and training, Division shipping and receiving, statewide agency and state term contracts and procurement during disasters, and management of the State Logistics Response Center to include the Movement Coordination Center and Logistics Operations Center.
The Information Technology and Communications Branch: The Information Technology Unit is responsible for developing and implementing information technology (IT) policy at the Division level, providing IT security strategy and guidance, standards for the consolidated purchase of IT products, and facilitating the delivery, management and customer support of Enterprise IT Services. The Communications Unit is responsible for supporting Division and statewide radio frequency, satellite and telephone systems communications, Managing the State Emergency Alert System (EAS) alert and notification, the state and federal NAWAS systems, hot ring down systems as well as oversight of the Statewide Interoperable Communications programs and projects.
