The "2009 Current Issues in Emergency Management" Sessions are intended to provide an overview of various topics of interest to Emergency Managers throughout the State of Florida. The theme for 2009 event was "Strengthening the Team". The agenda is broad in scope, but the approach covered many topics rapidly in an interesting manner.
To accommodate the attendees, two sessions were scheduled. The first session was scheduled for October 6-8, 2009 at the State Emergency Operations Center and the second session which is for county emergency management directors only is scheduled for October 20-21, 2009 and will be held at the State Logistics Response Center in Orlando, Florida.
