Workshops - Events - Meetings
The "2008 Current Issues in Emergency Management" Sessions are intended to provide an overview of various topics of interest to Emergency Managers throughout the State of Florida. The theme for 2008 event was "Doing More With Less". In that regard, we added to the 2008 Fall Current Issues in Emergency Management Agenda -Sessions I & II a number of operational tools that might be useful at all levels of government. The agenda is broad in scope, but the approach covered many topics rapidly in an interesting manner. To accommodate the attendees, two sessions were scheduled. The first session was scheduled for October 14-16, 2008 and the second session, October 28-30, 2008. Both sessions of CIEM were hosted in the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC). Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Chadwick Smith at (850) 413-9879 or via e-mail at Chad.Smith@EM.MyFlorida.com.
